Daniel visits California to be with his mother after his beloved Auntie's death — but nothing is ever the same again.

In July 2015, after raising more than $20,000 from Kickstarter, we shot a proof-of-concept pilot presentation, starring Daniel as Daniel and Alexis Rhee as Esther. 

In October 2016, it premiered at the Independent Television and Film Festival and screened at NewFest.

Then it won BEST DRAMA PILOT and BEST ACTOR (congrats, Daniel!) at New York Television Festival. 

In March 2017, According To My Mother had its West Coast Premiere at Outfest Fusion in Los Angeles and screened at CAAMfest in San Francisco.

And in July 2017, Alexis Rhee won Best Actress - Comedy at SeriesFest for playing Esther!
